Betting Previews: 2/12/2022

Today we will be previewing two college basketball games as well as one NBA game.

CBB:

Vanderbilt @ Tennessee

The Commodores come into this game in Knoxville riding a two-game win streak. Tennessee won the first meeting between these two teams, 68-60. Vanderbilt has held its opponents to under 30% from beyond the arc this season, while Tennessees strengths lie in an athletic front court. The Volunteers are 14th in the nation in assists per game with 16.9. Tennessee will be trying to string together 4 straight victories with a win tonight, before they face-off against Kentucky on Tuesday.

William and Mary @ James Madison

In Colonial League action, the William and Mary Tribe travel to James Madison. Last time these two teams played, the Dukes rallied from a 23-point first half deficit, to force overtime and eventually win 95-91. Following a 11-3 start which included a win against Virginia, JMU has came back down to earth currently, 13-10. They average 77.3 points per game. W&M on the other hand, is currently 5-20, and average 16.6 turnovers per game. The Tribe have three starters averaging double-digit points.

NBA:

Lakers @ Warriors

Tonight on ABC, the Lakers will travel to San Francisco to take on Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors. The Lakers road woes have continued, losing their 5th straight road game to the Trail Blazers on Wednesday. Anthony Davis did not record a field goal in the final 9 minutes of the game.  The Warriors are currently on a 2 game losing streak, and have not lost three straight yet this season. In the loss to New York, Curry dropped 35 points while adding 10 assists.
