Betting Previews: 3/13/2022

Today we will be previewing three games on the slate, one NBA game and two college basketball games.

NBA:

Knicks @ Nets

The Brooklyn Nets will host the New York Knicks in the Barclays Center as the two teams from New York are set to go against one another in this matchup. The Nets are 2-0 against the Knicks this season yet 1-1 against the spread. New York has covered 5 straight games after failing to cover in the previous six. Kyrie Irving will be ineligible due to Covid-19 restrictions in New York.

CBB:

Yale @ Princeton

The Yale Bulldogs (18-11) face the Princeton Tigers (23-5) Sunday in the Ivy League Tournament Final. The tournament has been played in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The Bulldogs picked up a 67-61 win to beat Penn in the Ivy League semifinals Saturday, setting up rubber match against Princeton. Yale lost at home to Princeton 81-75 on February 19, but the Bulldogs won in New Jersey against the Tigers by a score of 80-74 on January 29. This will be the third meeting between the two teams this season.

Iowa @ Purdue

The No. 5-seeded Iowa Hawkeyes (25-9) take on the third-seeded Purdue Boilermakers (27-6) in the Big Ten Championship today. Iowa is coming off a win over Indiana in which they trailed most of the game while Purdue is coming off of a close 75-70 win against Michigan State. Purdue won both matchups between the two teams this season, 77-70 at home and 83-73 in Iowa.
