Betting Previews: 3/16/2022

Today we will be previewing two games, one NBA game and one NCAA Tournament game.

NBA:

Lakers @ Timberwolves

Two teams that seem to be heading in opposite directions meet tonight in Minneapolis. The Lakers (29-39) have lost 14 of their last 19 games, while the Timberwolves (40-30), have won 8 of their past 9 games. Karl-Anthony Towns is coming off of the best game of his career, scoring a franchise record 60 points Monday in a 149-139 win over the Spurs. Lebron James is averaging 34.6 points per game in 7 contests this month.  The Timberwolves currently lead the season series over the Lakers, 2-1.

CBB:

Bryant @ Wright State

On the second day of the NCAA Tournament, the first four games continue, leading off with the Bryant Bulldogs (22-9) taking on the Wright State Raiders (21-13) in the South Region. The winner of this game will receive the 16th seed and take on Arizona on Friday. This game features two of the top scoring duos in the field of 68. Bryant has nations leading scorer Peter Kiss (25.1 ppg) who is complimented by his backcourt partner Charles Pride (20.3 ppg). On the other side, Wright State boasts a scoring duo of Grant Basile (18.3 ppg) and Tanner Holden (19.9 ppg). This will mark Bryants first appearance in the tournament, while Wright State has been to the big dance four times prior.
