Betting Previews: 3/27/2022
Today we will be previewing two games, both on the NCAA Tournament slate.
CBB:
Miami @ Kansas
The No. 10 seeded Miami Hurricanes (26-10) are appearing in their first ever Elite Eight where they will take on the No. 1 seeded Kansas Jayhawks (31-6). Miami is coming off of a dominant win in the Sweet 16 over Iowa State, 70-56. Prior to that they took down the No. 2 seed in the Midwest Region in Auburn by a commanding score of 79-61. The Jayhawks hounded No. 4 seed Providence into 33.8 percent shooting en route to Friday’s 66-61 semifinal victory, including a 4-for-23 effort from 3-point range. Although Kansas shot just 39.3% from the floor, they used disciplined defense and great point guard play from Remy Martin (23 points) to prevail for the win. The winner of this game will advance to the Final Four to take on Villanova.
Saint Peters @ North Carolina
The Saint Peters Peacocks (21-11) are on a historic run, becoming the first ever No. 15 seed to advance to the Elite Eight, where they will take on the North Carolina Tarheels (27-9). Coaches Shaheen Holloway and Hubert Davis have two things in common, they both weren’t expected to be here and they both refuse to take the spotlight from their players. Saint Peters is coming off of an upset win over No. 3 seeded Purdue, 67-64. North Carolina on the other hand is coming off a 73-66 win over UCLA. The winner of this game will become champions of the East Region and take on Duke in the Final Four next weekend.
