Betting Previews: 4/22/2022

Today we will be previewing three games, two on the MLB slate and one on the NBA playoff slate.

MLB:

Indians @ Yankees

The Cleveland Indians (7-5) will travel to the Bronx today to take on the New York Yankees (7-6). The Indians are coming off a three game series in which they swept the White Sox at home. They most recently won yesterday against the Sox 6-3. The Yankees are coming off a series win over the Tigers, despite dropping game three of the set, 3-0 yesterday. Cleveland will start Eli Morgan today while New York will counter with Jameson Taillon. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM Eastern Time.

Red Sox @ Rays

The Boston Red Sox (6-7) will look to get their fourth road win of the season today when they travel to Tropicana Field to take on the Tampa Bay Rays (7-6). The Red Sox are coming off a home series loss to the Blue Jays, in which they dropped 2 of 3 at Fenway. They won the first game of the series over Toronto 2-1, but have since dropped the last two. The Rays are coming off a Chicago road trip, in which they lost a series to the White Sox 2-1, and then won a series over the Cubs 2-1. Michael Wacha will make his third start for Boston this season while Tampa Bay will have veteran Corey Kluber on the bump. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 PM Eastern Time.

Bucks @ Bulls

With the series tied 1-1, the Bulls-Bucks rivalry will return to Chicago tonight for games 3 and 4. The Bucks prevailed in the first game of the series in a defensive battle, 93-86. The Bulls answered the call in game 2, stealing a 114-110 victory in Milwaukee. Game 2 showed a resilient Bulls team, at one point leading by 16, and never looking back as they led throughout the remainder of the game. Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 30 points per game and 17 rebounds per game so far this series. On the other hand, Demar Derozan is averaging 29.5 points per game to go along with 7.5 rebounds through 2 games for the Bulls. Milwaukee’s Kris Middleton has been ruled out for the remainder of the series with a strained MCL. This pivotal game 3 is set to tip off at 8:30 PM Eastern Time.
