The Seattle Mariners (11-9) will take on the Miami Marlins (11-8) today on the road for game 2 of a 3 game series. Miami comes into this game on a six-game winning streak, after defeating Seattle in the first game of the series yesterday, 8-6. The Marlins jumped out to an 8-3 lead in the 3rd inning, before the Mariners scored 3 runs in the 9th, proving not to be enough as Miami prevailed. The Marlins are 7-3 in their last 10 games while the Mariners are 6-4 in their last 10. Seattle will start LHP Robbie Ray while Miami will counter with LHP Jesús Luzardo. First pitch is scheduled for 6:10 PM Eastern Time.
Angels @ White Sox
The Los Angeles Angels (14-7) will try to win another game on the road today, when they take on the Chicago White Sox (7-12). The Angels have won 6 games in a row, and are 8-2 in their last 10 games. They defeated the White Sox yesterday in game 1 of the series by a score of 5-1. Chicago, on the other hand has been reeling lately, dropping their last 2 games, holding a record of 1-9 in their last 10 games. The White Sox will start Vince Velasquez while the Angels will counter with Josè Suarez. First pitch is scheduled for 4:05 PM Eastern Time.
