Betting Previews: 8/13/2022

Today we will be previewing two games, both on the MLB slate.

MLB:

Cubs @ Reds

The Chicago Cubs (46-65) will take on the Cincinnati Reds (44-67) in game 2 of a 3 game series. Game 1 took place at the Field of Dreams in Dyersville, Iowa. The Cubs were able to win that game by a score of 4-2. Graham Ashcraft will get the nod today for the Reds, while the Cubs will counter with Adrian Sampson. Chicago is 3-1 in their last 4 games while Cincinnati is on a 4-game losing streak. First pitch is scheduled for 6:40 PM Eastern Time.

Yankees @ Red Sox

The New York Yankees (71-42) will travel to Fenway Park tonight to take on the Boston Red Sox (56-58) in game 2 of their rivalry. Newly acquired Frankie Montas will be on the bump tonight for New York, while Boston will go with Kutter Crawford. Both teams have been struggling as of late, the Yankees hold a 2-8 record in their last 10 games, while the Red Sox are 4-6 in their last 10. First pitch is scheduled for 7:15 PM Eastern Time.
