Betting Previews: 8/22/2022

Today we will be previewing two games, both on the MLB slate.

MLB:

White Sox @ Royals

The Chicago White Sox (62-59) will take on the Kansas City Royals (49-74) today for one game at Kauffman Stadium. They will only play a singular game in result of a previous postponement. The White Sox are 6-4 in their last 10 games while the Royals have been on a skid with a 2-8 record in their last 10. Chicago will have Michael Kopech on the mound today while Kansas City will counter with Daniel Lynch. First pitch is scheduled for 2:10 PM Eastern Time.

Mets @ Yankees

The New York Mets (79-44) will travel across town to the Bronx where they will take on the New York Yankees (74-48) in game 1 of a 2 game Subway Series. The Mets currently have the second best record in baseball while the Yankees have the fifth best. The Mets are 6-4 in their last 10 games, and will have Max Scherzer on the mound tonight on the road. The Yankees have cooled down from their hot first half, with a 3-7 record in their last 10. They will have Domingo German pitching for them tonight. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM Eastern Time.
