Betting Previews: 5/12/2022

Today we will be previewing two games, both on the NBA Playoff slate.

NBA Playoffs:

Heat vs. 76ers (Heat lead 3-2)

Tonight the Miami Heat will return to Philadelphia to take on the 76ers in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The 76ers were able to tie the series 2-2 after being down 2-0, last time they were in Philly. The series then returned to Miami for game 5 where the Heat won handily, 120-85, to put them back up 3-2. Jimmy Butler is averaging 28.3 ppg on 53.8% shooting, while Joel Embiid is averaging 24 ppg and 10.6 rebounds. The winner of this series will advance to the Eastern Conference Finals to take on the winner of the Celtics-Bucks series. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 PM Eastern Time.

Suns @ Mavericks (Suns lead 3-2)

On the other side of the bracket, the Phoenix Suns will travel to Dallas to take on the Mavericks in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals. Similar to the Sixers-Heat series, the home team has won in every matchup so far through 5 games. Dallas will look to continue that trend tonight and avoid playoff elimination. Suns star Devin Booker is averaging 25.4 ppg while Mavs superstar Luka Doncic is averaging 30.9 ppg and 10 rebounds. The winner of this series will advance to the Western Conference Finals to take on the winner of Warriors-Grizzlies. Tip-off is scheduled for 9:30 PM Eastern Time.
